YouTuber Spotlight: Ryan Vallejo

Share your story of becoming a YouTuber. How did you get started? What inspires you/ any muses? What do you love most about creating videos?

I got started just making videos for fun in 2008 with some friends. But then I started my own channel and got "serious" and made weekly videos since October of 2009. I do twice a week now.

What advice would you give to YouTubers just starting out?

Make videos about whatever you're passionate about! You'll never get tired of it. I've also noticed sticking with one topic (gaming, beauty, specific vlog types for specific audiences) gives you the most growth. But just have fun with it.

What do you like best about FameBit?

I like that I can choose to work with which companies I want to. It's also very trustworthy, plus communication with the brands is easy.

A few faves please! (food, movie, quote, etc)

BATMAN is my favorite movie, Mexican food is my favorite, and I really like watching videos... lol.

What is your current setup for shooting videos?

I have 2 big soft boxes I use for light, my camera is a Canon t3i with a EFS 17-55mm f2.8 lens. I usually just film in my room.
